Sri Lanka's comprehensive personal data protection law (Act No. 9 of 2022, certified by the Speaker on 19 March 2022), establishing the Data Protection Authority and governing personal-data processing. It is a horizontal data-governance framework relevant to AI systems; the Act is not AI-specific.
